Day CXXV

Dragon Breath

Remember that scene, at the beginning of “Slum dog Millionaire?” My point? The stench. A smoker’s finger tips are almost always mustard yellow, from the
nicotine. If you sniff them, you can smell the tobacco bouquet- the stench. You can clean your fingers with lemon juice, but if you continue to smoke, the color
comes back…along with the odor. You can use that to your benefit, though. If you smell it, and it gags you, then you can use it to your advantage.

I know this because at some point, I don’t remember when, I ran my fingers across my face in frustration over some mishap- just as I happened to sigh. At the time I was thinking about lighting up too, but the stench of nicotine, rising from my finger tips smacked me in the face, and threw me for a loop. It gagged me! Made me retch! I was alone at the time, and avoided an embarrassing moment, but that stench killed my desire to light up.

After that whenever I felt like lighting up; I would quietly, quickly, and stealthily fold my hand like a half open fist, and rest my chin on it. As if I were mulling
something over, and take a small whiff. Believe me it was a turn off, and helped me to not light up. So, if you react the same to the stench, then when, and if you run into a hot babe, and she has dragon’s breath, it will turn you right off. Dragon breath is nicotine stench.
