It's A Woman Ting
“Not weally, he sed

im. He sed he was drunk, and dint see haw again for a coupla monfs, ya na.
Then one day outa da freaking blue, she calls im, and sez she be knocked up. Being

“Ya neva na doya…wuds

“Ida na dude!”
“Damn, he took ca a

“Ina Ina, but ya
gotta be a woman ta unastand, dude...it’s a woman ting, yo!”
“I guess cuz det
cain’t happen ta a guy...did he eva cheat on ya mom?”
“No way, he wuz
always ina stoh an sheet, man, then he always came home.”
“How boudem Sundays?”
“Nah pop wuz always
so reverent, man. Always reading da bible, I won’t be lee it, man. No way!”
“How bout ya mom…wat

“I don’t tink so

don tol haw. It was a secret, and they wuz living as if they wuz no secrets twin em, ya na…then booom alla det sheet don hit da fan,
an sheet ya na.”
I wondered about that
for a long time, what if? What if he had told his bride, would she still have
married him? I guess it was one of those things for which there’s no answer.
