“Oh man, I was really
sick, and dint realize you had left.”
“Have you and Sonia
been hanging out since then?”
“No, I ain’t seen haw
since.”
“This was your first
time, uh?”
She nodded, her head
in a frown, as furrows appeared on her brow.
“Watcha doing na?" She asked.
“Looky hea, diz sheet
has got to go away soonah or latah, I’m thinking of eida going home or tada
pahk, take in some fresh air.”
“If ya goes tada
pahk, I go wit ya, but I not going to ya house, dude.”
“Ok we dooda pahk,
tawk, dwink a soda, jest hang for a while, okay?”
“Okay,” She smiled, “meet
me outside, round the korner, I gots ta tawk ta my aunt foist.”
I closed my sample
case, smiled at her aunt,
“Gracias foda oda
donya!”
“Weekend, don’t
forrrget, or I no do bidness wif joo nomorrre.” She smiled, as I went out the
door.
At the corner I lit
up, and waited for Morgana. It wasn’t long before she showed up, we walked across the street to a small park, and sat on a
bench. As we sat down, I heard a young lady say.
“Hiya dude!”
“Ina ya from som wa?”
“Yea…well soita!”
“Come again!”
“Remember Puss an
Boots, dude, uh!”
“Oh yea, Ya Chubbles,
uh…how ya dooning?”
